Hi, I’m a Freelance Web Designer
I’m guessing you’re here because that’s of interest, so please read on. If not and you’re just being nosey, that’s cool too…
In building my own online business ventures I gained a particular set of skills and passion for creating online. Now, alongside my businesses, I build websites for clients, coach Ecommerce and when I’ve got a minute, a little bit of Photography.
I specialise in building WordPress and Woocommerce websites based on the incredibly powerful Flatsome theme or using Elementor Pro in conjunction with Crocoblock.
Whether you need a fancy new website or a fresh brand identity I can help! Logo, typography, colour palette and beautiful websites built for results.
I’ve been using WordPress for years and have a great understanding of the tools available. I use Elementor as well as custom development when required.
It’s all well and good having a fantastic website, but if no one ever discovers it, what’s the point? SEO is vital to any digital strategy.
With first hand experience of owning and running an online business I have unique knowledge and expertise and can devise cunning strategies with you.
When you can’t find an off the shelf plugin to do the job me and my team can build pretty much anything you can imagine from the ground up.
Building a website is just the start and I understand that not all businesses can maintain it. I offer ongoing services to keep things working as they should.

I’m willing to bet, like most businesses, you have an ever growing To-do List. But inside your top ten isn’t “make a pretty website”. You will have real problems you are facing and that’s what I focus on solving.
I’m not a designer looking to just create a pretty
website for my portfolio. It has to give your business real results.
Sure, we’ll make a prettier website. However, that is just a consequence of solving these problems.

New Websites & Redesign Projects
During this first stage the top priority is to uncover the challenges and problems your business is facing and what a website can do to solve these. I’m not a designer looking to just create a pretty website for my portfolio, it has to give your business real results. We most likely will have covered a lot of this during our initial consultation, but we’ll go over it again during stage 1 and set project goals around these problems.
I will get up to speed with you and your business at a broader level; what you do, what sets you apart from the competition and so on. We’ll also look at user personas, content strategy and more. We’ll also begin to review visual direction and the overall look and feel we’re going to try and achieve.
Now having a clear image of what your business does and what success looks like, we move to planning. We’ll re-visit some of the things we looked at in stage 1, but this time we really put pen to paper and start defining content strategy, visual direction and branding. Content strategy is finalised with card sorting (an exercise that helps with create a sitemap) and user flows; again user experience (UX) at the forefront of our minds.
Now armed with a comprehensive plan and visual direction we’re looking to take, this stage is where branding ideas will be brought to life (logo, colour scheme, typography & branding guide). We’ll also look at low fidelity wireframes. This will allow us to have an objective view of the UX without the distraction of aesthetics. We’ll then move on to high fidelity wireframes which will focus on incorporating all the design decisions we’ve made so far; overall feel, colours, typography etc.
This stage is the first one where it’s less of a collaboration. I will build out the website as per our wireframes and content strategy plans on a temporary domain. You can then review this in your own time (across all manner of devices) and feedback. Feedback will then be actioned until we have a site we’re both proud of. We’ll of course review our user personas and goals throughout to ensure the website is fulfilling the needs of your users and our goals.
The final stage is training you so you can update/manage the site moving forward. We can either have a Zoom session for this or I can send some pre-recorded videos to you. WordPress and the tools I use on top are all very user friendly so I have every faith you will be able to pick it up quite quickly.
Every project is different so I don’t have fixed pricing, but typically websites start from £2k. We work together to uncover problems you have, your customers needs and the value a website can bring you.
Get in touch to get started…
Again, every project is different but I’d typically expect timelines to vary from 10 days to 6 months (for large enterprise level projects).
I have a range of monthly packages available from basic hosting and maintenance, to gold level management; uploading content, plugin updates, SEO, PPC, hosting and more. Get in touch if that’s of interest.
Yes! All of my sites are built on WordPress; the world’s most popular CMS (powers over 42% of the WWW). It’s very easy to use but I can include basic training as part of your package if you’d like expert advice. I also offer content updates as part of one of my monthly packages (see above Q).
Of course! Everything I do is 100% responsive, so will work across any and all devices no problem.
It’s totally up to you! I have monthly service packages and can host, maintain and market the site for you if so you wish. If you’d rather deal with that yourself, we’ll simply transfer your new website from one of our development domains to your one of your own.
There’s many perks to hiring a freelancer over an agency, most notably is you are getting the freelancers undivided attention and normally you are getting it for a fraction of the cost!
Freelancers just don’t have the same overheads to deal with as agencies so often you are getting a dedicated, more personal experience as well as paying less for it.
With all of my Web Design projects we begin by getting to know your brand and the image you’re looking to convey. If you have colour palettes, logos and all that fun stuff already figured out then great!
If not, we can work together to get a logo and other branding nailed down. It’s important to have this clear before starting. Again, prices vary from project to project so get in touch to find out more.
The fridge. Obviously.
Cupboard storing folk are wrong, but I don’t discriminate so are still happy to work with you.

I’ve lost count of the number of posts I’ve seen where people are obsessing at getting to 99/100 on Pingdom, GTMetrix or whatever other tools they can find to benchmark their site.
